Game #1
My first project as part of UC Berkeley’s Game Design course, Game #1 is arguably more toy than game. Best described as a “2D bouncy-paintball sandbox”, the game centers around bouncing black balls of varying sizes around a 2D space, crashing them into the walls or each other to create colorful paint splats. While there are no discernible end-states for this ‘game,’ the physical rules of the space gave it enough of a game-like quality to pass muster. Regardless, as a first real foray into Unity development, it helped to start filling in the edges of all game development entails.
