Polychroma

The final project for the UC Berkeley Game Design course, Polychroma is a puzzle platformer where you change the color of the world around you to create new paths forward and restore order to the slowly deteriorating world around you. Influenced heavily by games like Monument Valley and The Floor is Jelly, I pitched Polychroma as a vibrant, colorful world that was just pleasant to hang out in. Yeah, you could solve a couple of puzzles, but you didn’t need to be in a rush to do so.

The most ambitious game I’d worked on to date, Polychroma was built in Unity with Chris Brown and Meena Vempaty. I handled the engineering and design with additional engineering support from Chris and art from Meena.
